Career
She began her acting career in 1995 with a guest appearance in an episode of "ER", followed by other significant guest roles on various TV shows including as a guest regular in 2000 on the MTV anthology series "Undressed." Her biggest break came in 2002 when she was offered the part of Kennedy, one of the 'Slayer Potentials' on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." Because of supportive fan mail, she continued appearing in all of the last 13 episodes of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer's" 7th and final season. Being the "Scoobie Gang's" latest addition has a brought a whole new fame to Iyari, who now makes personal appearances at conventions around the world.
Limón has appeared in numerous TV commercials, both in Spanish and English. Among her credits are commercials for Toyota, Dr Pepper, and Always.
During her screen test for the part of Carmen in The L Word, Limón ad libbed a Spanish phrase into Kate Moennig's ear (“Quiero lamerte hasta que te vengas en mi boca mil veces” - "I want to lick you until you come in my mouth a thousand times"). The phrase was written into the show, and later used in the series by Sarah Shahi's Carmen.
Most recently, she guest starred in the 2004 premiere episode of the Emmy award winning series "Without a Trace". She also appeared in numerous television commercials such as SBC, Always, Toyota, Dr. Pepper, etc. In 2001, she hosted Radio Disney's world tour 2001 traveling to all the major cities in the U.S.

Career
At the age of 12, she was part of the festival "Juguemos a Cantar," together with her brother, Jorge, and two friends, she made it to the finals, which allowed her to record on a compilation album edited for the festival.
Manterola soon entered the world of modeling, which allowed her to meet the Mexican producer Luis de Llano, in 1989, creator of the band, Timbiriche and a successful producer of telenovelas (soap operas). De Llano eventually suggested she audition for the group, but noticing her talent, invited her to be part of a new project known as Garibaldi banda

Manterola made her acting debut with "¿Dónde Quedó La Bolita?" (1993), a comedy featuring Garibaldi. In 1994, after a Garibaldi live performance in Acapulco, Manterola launched her solo career with the release of "Hambre de Amor." Paty's newfound notoriety allowed her to make the smooth transition into acting. Soon thereafter, Paty earned roles in various telenovelas (soap opera) such as "Acapulco, Cuerpo y Alma" (1995) and "Gente Bien" (1997). She received the newcomer of the year award from the Latin American soap opera magazine, TV y Novelas for her portrayal of Lorena on "Acapulco, Cuerpo y Alma."
